The starting point in Aschau and Thurnbach offers many possibilities to superb hiking trails.

Whether to the south in the direction of Zell am Ziller or north to Kaltenbach, the hiking trails bid various degrees of difficulty and length of trails. Bypassing surrounding alpine farms is often part of the first leg.
